4/1/08: Authentic Boricua begins launching spring line. Authentic Boricua will be launching 2 - new Latino inspired graphic t-shirt. The first graphic tee, Force Inside Passion, is a purple, 100% cotton t-shirt with a silver metallic print, which features horses, a crown and the Puerto Rican flag. The second graphic tee, Columbus Tee, is a three color print that features a skull, crown and the 3 ships made famous by Christopher Columbus. Printed on a sail green boat neck tee for women, the print goes over the collar and sleeve and it's men's counterpart is on a light blue 100% super soft cotton tee.
11/1/07: Authentic Boricua begins production of its spring line Starting in early January, Authentic Boricua will launch a new design every 2 weeks for 3 months. 6/10/07: 2007 National Puerto Rican Day Parade in NY - 50th AnniversaryThe 2007 Puerto Rican Day Parade took place Sunday, June 10 2007 and was led by businessman and National Grand Marshal Felix Juan Serralles, Jr., and the parade's King was singer Ricky Martin. Also in attendance was Reggaeton music artist Daddy Yankee from Puerto Rico. Various Music Honorees of the event included artists El Gran Combo, Obie Bermudez and Calle 13. Authentic Boricua was also one of the many organizations to march in the parade. 6/3/07: 2007 Brentwood Puerto Rican / Hispanic Day Parade The sights, sounds and sabor (that's flavor for you English speakers) of Long Island's diverse Latino population will fill the streets of Brentwood this Sunday beginning at noon at the annual Puerto Rican/Hispanic Day Parade.
About 50,000 spectators will be setting up folding chairs and spreading blankets along Brentwood's Fifth Avenue for what Noemi Robinson of Adelante of Suffolk County, the longtime parade sponsor, calls "a community day where everybody celebrates their heritage."
